FUEL SYSTEM
check.gif (1119 bytes)  We recommend the use of STA-Bil or MAXIMA FUEL STABILIZER to keep your gas tank from corrosion. Fill your tank and add STABILIZER using the mix directions the bottle. Run the engine for a few minutes to circulate the mixture into the carbs. Get the 8 oz. bottle! It works great in lawnmowers, weedwackers & jet skis too!

*Option is Fitch Fuel Catalyst - Good for 250,000 miles - also increases efficiency of motor & better mileage
TIRES
check.gif (1119 bytes)  Tires are affected by heat, sunlight and dampness as well as Ozone, which is given off by electric motors. Preferably store your bike with the tires fully inflated, in a cool, dry place. Use your centerstand to take the bikes weight off the tires. Keep the bike out of direct sunlight and away from electric motors. Ex: refrigerator, freezer, etc.
BATTERY
check.gif (1119 bytes)  The easiest way to prolong battery life is to keep it fully charged. We recommend the BATTERY TENDER or the E-Z CHARGER. With either unit, you may leave your battery charged. An alternative is to charge the battery monthly to keep it in a warm, dry place. ALWAYS USE CAUTION! Follow the battery company's instructions and the charger's directions when handling a battery!
LUBRICATION
check.gif (1119 bytes)  During use your engine oil becomes acidic from combustion. Prior to storage, we recommend changing your oil and running the motor for a few minutes to circulate it. You may want to change it again in the spring as condensation may form during storage. A liberal coating of MAXIMA CHAIN WAX on your chain, cables, lever pivots, brake linkage etc. will protect against corrosion as well.
GENERAL
check.gif (1119 bytes)  There are several covers available, from an inexpensive DOW LEGEND COVER for moisture and dust protection to the DOW GUARDIAN COVERS offering more protection.
